As a new mom in an unfamiliar town I have been inspired to start a blog about what I’m passionate about. I want to share my experiences and tell my story to help motivate mamas to stay fit and eat healthy so they can be the best version of themselves for their family.
I plan on achieving this by sharing my life experiences about being a wife, mom, my pregnancy, eating healthy and staying in shape with some other fun topics thrown in as well :). I strive to be a source of help and motivation to women as I go through my daily lessons, trials and tribulations of everyday life.
Fitness and eating healthy have always been a very important part of my life but even more now that I have a family, and I think it’s a huge part of the foundation you need to be the best mom and caregiver you can be. It is essential to make time to take care of yourself first even though some days it feels impossible.
I’m really blessed to have such an incredible family. I’m happily married to my husband Phil (read the story about how we met here), and a mom to my 20-month old son, Philip. We are also expecting our second bundle of joy around December 9, 2013 (It’s a surprise)! We’ve recently moved to our new home in Westchester County, New York about one year ago. Besides working out and spending time with my family and friends, I love competitive cheerleading and gymnastics both, which have been a huge part of my life. I love to travel, fashion, interior design, photography, country music, and going to the beach and Saratoga Springs, NY in the summertime.
However, I always find the most happiness in the little things in life…snuggling with my baby boy, a big cup of coffee while reading a great book or watching a movie with my husband with a glass of wine in hand (wine and caffeine currently on hold until #2 arrives).
